Hong Kong - 5 nights

Day 1: Arrive Hong Kong

You will be met at Hong Kong International Airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax, explore on own, or enjoy the hotel's amenities.

Day 2:

This morning enjoy a half-day tour of Hong Kong, starting off with a tram ride to the top of Victoria Peak to take in the panoramic views of Kowloon, Hong Kong Island, and beyond. Your tour continues with a visit to the famous floating community of Aberdeen. Other highlights include Repulse Bay, Stanley Market and Happy Valley. Your afternoon is at leisure.

Day 3:

Today's trip to Lantau Island begins with an express ferry across the busy Hong Kong harbor. You will then board a coach and travel the winding roads to the unique fishing village of Tai O where the fishermen's homes are built on stilts.

Your tour continues with a visit to the Giant Buddha who sits on a high plateau close to the Po Lin Monastery. At more than 111 feet high, this Buddha is the world's largest seated outdoor bronze Buddha. After lunch enjoy a leisurely guided tour of the exhibition hall and the Po Lin Monastery.

The tour concludes with a 25 minute cable car journey down the mountain where your coach will meet you and take you back to your hotel.

Day 4:

Hop on a high speed catamaran this morning and head to mainland China. Your first stop is Shekou Industrial zone, China's first Special Economic Zone. Here you'll visit a safari park to see the Chinese panda and visit the Exhibition Hall to view a display of Qin Dynasty Terracotta Warriors unearthed in Xian as well as pottery and porcelain from the Tang Dynasty.

Your trip continues to Guangzhou for lunch at a local Chinese restaurant and then take a tour of the city. Return to Hong Kong by express train and then a transfer to your hotel.

Day 5:

Your day is free to explore on your own until you reconvene for a farewell dinner this evening.

Day 6: Departure

Transfer to the airport to catch your flight home.
