Slovenia's most populated city and most visited city is Ljubljana. Like Prague before it became a traveler's mecca, Ljubljana has a charming old-world feel. The former Roman town of Emona, Ljubljana has a Roman presence found throughout the city. Serviced by many low cost air carriers, it is often a gateway city to other nearby destinations, but the city itself has a well developed bar and dining scene - be sure to try some of the local beers and cuisine during your trip.
