You can take a ride up into the hills to get a sweeping view of the valley and one of the best panoramas in Austria. Innsbruck has twice been a winter Olympics host city, so during the winter many Austrians come here for winter sports - skating, snowshoeing, snowboarding, and other activities are just a few of the things to try out.
Salzburg is another popular destination when visitors travel to Austria - it is the birthplace of famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. From museums, to churches, lavish palaces and fairytale castles, you can easily see why young Mozart was so inspired by this city - today much of the city is a UNESCO world heritage site. Try to visit during the Salzburg festival, when the city is filled with artists from around the world.
