Our vacation to Rio, Iguasso Falls, and Buenos Aires was wonderful!! These sites themselves are gorgeous, and the optional tours just added the icing to this cake of pleasure!

We are two couples, all 69 or over and we have just returned from the most wonderful vacation. We were very impressed that all arrangements were made for transport to and from our hotels and representatives were waiting for us at the airports. Somehow we did not get the services of an agent in Rio except to make our return arrangements.
In Iguassu the two guides we had were fantastic to say the least, they were Joa (John) and Leandro and were with us constantly for two days. Leandro took care of all the arrangements for us to trasfer into Argentina so we didn't have to worry about a thing. The falls are so spectacular, just breathtaking and we took the boat ride which was just a little scary for me.
Our hotels, Luxor Regente over looking the beach, Des Cataratas and Kempinski were all superb. The latter has a very small elevator and eating area but its elegant furnishings made up for that and it is situated in a very upscale neighbourhood.
One word of warning, be extremely careful in Rio. It seems best to stay off the beach at all times. We thought we were being vigilant but at an off guard moment we still had our camera snatched . Having said that it is still a beautiful and interesting place to visit. We would highly recommend this trip and feel we had excellent value for our dollars. We are looking for another go-today.com trip to make.

Great value. all the arrangements were perfect. All transfers were waiting at the airport and hotel. Only drawback was the Buenos Aires Hotel, Hotel of the Americas, advertised as air conditioned however the room we had didn't and when I inquired at the desk, they said that the hotel did not have air conditioning. As well, the front desk service was spotty, some helpful some acted as if they did not know anything about the city. As well, we left a laundry bag on the floor which they picked up and charged for the cleaning. Even a discussion with the manager produced no compromise.

This was a fabulous trip and such a deal for the dollar! We loved that all the airport transfers were waiting on us upon arrival and we were promptly whisked away to our hotel! The hotels we chose were just outstanding- we stayed at the Luxor Continental in Rio, the Continental Inn in Iguassu and the De Las Americas in Buenos Aires- they were just much more than we had expected! WE highly recommend Go-today- all the logistics were arranged without any problems and we look forward to traveling with go-today again soon!! (australia in may hopefully!!)

Excellent trip! Rio de Janeiro offered excellent views of the city from both Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain. You must eat at Porcao Restaurant ... it was a Brazilian feast. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! The hospitality of the people at the Luxor Continental Hotel was outstanding. Due to inclement weather, our tour guide in Rio de Janeiro accommodated a last minute tour change. She quickly rescheduled our Sugar Loaf Mountain tour to the following day and added a tour of the Favela’s. Iguaçu Falls was magnificent. You must take the tour of both the Brazilian and Argentinean side ... finish your visit to Iguaçu Falls with the Macuco Falls boat ride. The tour guides will take you right up to the base of the falls ... plan to get wet because you will! The best part of our visit to Iguaçu Falls was our tour guide, Sandro Campos. He made our trip to the falls unforgettable. Oh Argentina ... what can I say ... I will be back. Plan for a lot of walking ... it's worth it. The Hotel de las Americas was located on Libertad Street which was centrally located between the Plaza de Mayo and the Recoleta. Walking through the flea market in front of the Recoleta on Saturdays and Sundays is a must. There are great buys on leather products, artwork and souvenirs. The Gaucha Fiesta was excellent … you’ll really feel relaxed in the country environment after spending a day in the city. There’s food, music and horse riding.
The bus transfers, tours and accommodations were excellent. We never had any misunderstandings or delays.
Go-today … thank you for the trip of a lifetime!
