    PARIS AND AMSTERDAM WERE BEAUTIFUL
Review Provided by: HAROLD HURLICH who traveled on 10/9/2009
The hotel"Comfort Davout Nation" was located in the slums of Paris. My wife and I felt so uncomfortable there, that we left after our first night.(the addicts were lined up for support on the walls of the "hotel" drinking, vomiting and relieving themselves. NOONE should ever go there.) No refund was granted.
Review Provided by: Dennis Allendorf who traveled on 9/26/2009
Booking online through Go.com was easy. They narrowed down the choices in hotels from the 2000 in Paris to a list of 20 or so. The one we picked Pavillon Villiers Etoile Hotel was clean, comfortable( despite no air conditioning), had a great continental breakfast, and staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. We were in a residential neighborhood in the 17th Arrondisement which we highly recommend. It was away from the main turist district and gave the feel of "living with the French". We will book our next European vacation through Go Today.com

Go-Today made our Paris vacation one to fondly remember! Our hotel was amazing, our flights were convenient, and our excursions were hassle-free. Everything was so well organized! Not to mention, the customer service representatives at Go-Today always responded in a timely manner to any and all questions regarding our travel plans. We had an wonderful trip and we owe a great deal to Go-Today for making it so affordable, fun, and stress-free!
Review Provided by: Russell Saylor who traveled on 5/4/2009
Paris was fantastic. Only problems with setting up our vacation was that the website had flights out of JFK, but when I called they could only get flights out of Newark for the price. The rep we went through was very helpful.
Review Provided by: Ryan Harper who traveled on 4/14/2009
Marvellous! With reservations. Jardin la Brea is a great hotel but the rooms are small so be prepared. The staff is wonderful and the water pressure (often a problem in Europe) is great. You can get a good shower. The location is almost perfect. 200 yards from the Metro. Within six blocks 100 restaurants. French/Italian/Japanese/Kashmiri/Cuban and those are only the one we visited. Clean, well tended rooms and attentive staff. Be careful about which tours you take. My wife (53) has arthritic knees. Mont Ste. Michel is a four hour bus ride each wayfor a three hour stay. But the site is straight uphill. She could only make it halfway up and relied on my descriptions and photos of the abbey. This tour should come with a warning for the disabled and/or elderly. It's expensive. Don't forgo it. It's a great trip and worth the price but extremely physically demanding. Watch your transfers! We forgo the package price of $62pp each way from CDG thinking we could get better on the ground. Results? $90 CDG to hotel because we were jet lagged and stupid; $40 on the return because we asked the hotel to set it up. Call your hotel in advance. They will arrange a pick up for you at the airport.

I usually don't take the time to fill out reviews but felt I had to in this case. This was my first trip booked with go-today.com and it was flawless. The booking process was simple and the documentation provided after completion of booking was clear and concise. I had no issues with the flight or the hotel. Both were great. I'll definitely use this company again to book an overseas vacation.

A very cost-effective package that gave us what we needed at good prices, without adding the expense of things we didn't want. It provided everything necessary for us to go enjoy ourselves!

The trip to Paris was outstanding, great hotel(royale montparnse)very comfortable great size room, great breakfast and the employees could not have been more helpful. great restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. Connections to and from the airport were perfect.
Review Provided by: robert macdonald who traveled on 3/18/2009
Paris was fabulous!!! I would go again, there is so much to see and do. Everyone was very pleasant and we didn't have any trouble with the language. The Mayfair is a great place to stay, full breakfast included and the employees are so nice and helpful. The location is the best, you can walk to most sites. I would recommend this trip to any one.
Review Provided by: Dianne Kern who traveled on 2/14/2009
The whole process of booking the trip was so easy. The price of the airfare and hotel combo were very reasonable. Anytime I had questions or concerns it was always easy to reach someone and everyone was very accomodating . We had a lovely time!

Spent 6 days sight-seeing in Paris using the subway to get around and Fodor's to guide our sight seeing. Had courteous and prompt airport pick-up and return. We upgraded hotel to 1st class Le Royal Montparnasse in 14th arr, the double room was nice but smallish, staff was very nice and friendly, delicious breakfast buffet, and good location near 3 metro stops. Very good value for the money. Also, took the half-day city bus tour and Seine River cruise which was helpful orientation to the city. Highly recommend this trip. Worth the price to take United nonstop from Washington,DC to Charles DeGaulle. Definitely will do another trip with Go-today. Anne M

Everything about our trip was amazing! Our flights with American Airlines were great. We were a bit nervous about the hotel going into it, because we had chosen one of the cheaper options, the Comfort Hotel Lamarck, however, we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast at the hotel was wonderful and fresh every morning, with pastries, fromage blanc, eggs, bread, cereal, juice, and coffee. The hotel staff was very helpful, and the location of the hotel was great, with less than a 5 minute walk to the metro station. We will certainly book with Go today again!

The room at Comfort Hotel Lamarck was really small, but the facilities were adequate and the staff was friendly. Paris, of course was absolutely fabulous. This package is a great value.

We stayed at the Confort Hotel Mouffetard. We loved this location. Never before have we returned to our hotel's neighborhood to have dinner every night. The shopping and the restaurants in the area were absolutely fabulous. What an incredible location. Elizabeth at the front desk was a real help!
Review Provided by: Jan Linkenback who traveled on 12/9/2008
The tirp was fantastic. We flew out of Dulles on United. I will ALWAYS fly out of Dulles the airport personnel and the ease of using the terminals is the best. In Paris I shuttle met us with a name sign, so there was no hunting him down or confusion. The hotel was great. The front desk staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Linda and Apollinaire especially. We stayed at the Comfort Hotel in Monmartre. The room was small, clean and quiet. Our phone didn't work, but the staff came up to get us when we got a phone call. This is our 4th time to Paris and 2nd time with go-today. I can't wait to go back and will surely use go-today again.
Review Provided by: Cathy Fahey who traveled on 11/26/2008
My package was the least expensive option. The hotel met my expectations. I stayed at the comfort Hotel Lamarick. My room was very clean and the staff friendly. The national language is French. The enitre staff does not speak English fluently If you are over 5'7'' the bed might be too small. The mattress did not have box springs. The location was great just a short walk to the metro. My transportation from and to CDG airport was purchased through go-today. The driver both ways was timely in picking me up and courteous on the drive. This was my first trip to Paris. I am a woman and went alone. I always felt safe in the hotel and walking to and from the metro. After my tickets were purchased I called go today regarding my seats. The staff person was very helpful and changed my seats if she could. I did not give 5 stars because the hotel did not exceed my expectations.

Excellent trip to Paris staying at Comfort Inn Lamarck. No problems with plane trip. Daytrips to country around Paris were good except you really don't have enough time inside the palaces (Palaces of the Loire Valley). Trip to Givenchy was excellent. Very good trip. Would highly recommend.
Review Provided by: Marilyn Middleton who traveled on 10/24/2008
Our arrangements were perfect. We accepted an alternative booking to stay in the part of the city where wanted to be. I met my daughter's flight and we continued on together. No problems at all.

Wondeful time in Paris! The flight on Air India was good, service on board excellent even though the seats were small and not much legroom.
Review Provided by: Nancy McCollum who traveled on 4/15/2008
This was my 4th trip to Paris, last 3 with Go-Today. All my flights were on time, and I landed in Paris at 5 AM with a full day ahead to see the sights! I stayed at the Mercure Ronceray, and although the reception area was rather seedy, the room was newly-renovated and beautiful, very small, but this is very typical of Europe! Breakfast was wonderful and very filling, I often lingered over several cups of that wonderful coffee before starting my day. The location was the best of my 4 trips, only steps to the Metro, and central to everything. I planned my trip 10 months in advance, and although the Euro wasn't doing us any favors, the price of the trip was incredible!
Review Provided by: Maribeth Jaubert who traveled on 3/12/2008
Our vacation to Paris was tops! I wouldn't fly Air India again. The stewardesses were very pleasant and the food was good, but the lavatories were very messy and the sinks stopped up. The go-today personnel were wonderful. I added an extra week to my vacation to also go to Lyon and everything worked out very smoothly. I called phone numbers on my receipts when every I had a question and the people were very helpful. I had absolutely no travel problems. I booked ground transportation to and from the airport to the hotel and all worked like clock work.
Review Provided by: Cathy Fahey who traveled on 3/12/2008
Go-today out did themselves on this, our 3rd package trip with them to Paris. Took at non-stop flight from Dulles. (It was worth the extra money.) Had to wait a little for our minibus transfer, but it worked itself out. The Le Royal Hotel was superb--see my review on it. It was only 1 block from 2 Metro stops. I never tire of Paris. This time we showed the city to 3 other family members and the sights are still great (after 5 personal visits). Our departure transfer was punctual and smooth. Go-Today still offers the best value. Go now with Go-Today!
Review Provided by: Brenda Kibler who traveled on 3/1/2008
Our trip to Paris was spectacular. The weather couldn't have been better (mid 60 (F) many of the days), and we had so much fun! Lots of sightseeing and authentic Paris experiences. We stayed at the Best Western Serotel Lutece. Rooms were clean, with full bathroom (and tub) in the room. The room was small, but anything larger would have been unnecessary. Go-today.com was perfect-- no frills, but had all the important details and information we needed. We are already planning our next trip and I recommend go.today.com to everyone!
Review Provided by: Liz S who traveled on 2/21/2008
Just returned from Paris last Thursday. It was the best trip! No problems, no hassles. Everything went smoothly. Flight was great. Hotel was great. The weather in Paris last week was perfect - 50 F & nothing but blue sky & sunshine! The grass was green. It was horrible to have to come home to Chicago - cold, rainy, snowy, gloomy weather! Can't wait to book another trip with "Go-Today". I think I have hubby convinced we have to go to Paris next February!
Review Provided by: cheryl wisniewski who traveled on 2/7/2008
The Hotel was in a good area but the bed felt like a crib mattress, small and tight room made for sleeping only. Breakfast made you forget about the nights you tried to sleep. Traveling was very easy and simple. It is best to plan your tours for at least four days and use the other days exploring Paris. Disney in Paris was nice, fun and exciting. It was very cold and beware of the men who try to sweet talk you to bed. For some seven days might be good, after five days I was ready to go home. The sights are beautiful. Paris is a place where you will walk until you feet drop off or you will. Finally, it was nice, not relaxing as I felt it should have been. If you can travel to London, Madrid or Spain take advantage and make the trip worth the visit since they are near each other.
Review Provided by: Patricia Johnson who traveled on 1/21/2008
Our fourth trip to Paris with Go-Today was as good as it gets. The flights on United Airlines were on time and comfortable. The hotel was very good and had the most space than the other three star hotels we have stayed at. We visited Le Puy en Velay, Lourdes and Lisieux and enjoyed ourselves very much. The weather was very good, and the people we met were very helpful and friendly. Paris at its best is a very good deal.
Review Provided by: John Feldmann who traveled on 11/1/2007
A wonderful trip for me and my 26-year-old daughter--her first visit to Paris. We stayed at the Hotel Comfort Mouffetard. The room was tiny and the bathroom tinier (2x2-foot shower booth) but the beds were comfortable and the breakfast buffet generous (good coffee, baguettes, butter and jam, croissants, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, ham, two kinds of juice). The location in the Latin Quarter was a big plus--it was our favorite neighborhood of the many we visited throughout Paris. There were a dozen excellent, inexpensive restaurants within a block, plus cafes, crepe stands, used bookstores, scarf/souvenir shops, bakeries and a wonderful chocolatier. Not to mention the street market down the block, two mornings a week, where we got a free lesson on the finer points of foie gras. We purchased airport transfers through Go-Today: not the cheapest way to get from the airport, but the door-to-door service was well worth the few dollars extra. We also bought 5-day Metro passes which took us all over the city with no hassles. Overall, we feel as though we got great value for the price, and would definitely book again through Go-Today.

This was by far one of the most memorable experiences my wife and i have had. The people, the places, the sights, the sounds will never be forgotten. The vacation going and coming back was very smooth. No late times, no issues. The hotel check in was great, and we even recieved a free upgrade to the a duplex. The shows we attended booked through go today was unforgettable. All in all, i will not book another vacation with anyone else. Brian & Bini

Paris is such a beautiful city. We loved the whole experience!
Review Provided by: Maryanne Holliday who traveled on 11/28/2006
I traveled with a group of six people total to Paris for Thanksgiving. We each booked our trips separately, but called and asked that we be booked in the same hotel because we wanted to stay together. We booked a week before we were departing. Go-today did a great job in getting us all in the same hotel, with a good price, with so little time to work with. It was touch and go at some points, and it seemed like we may not be together. But Go-today made it happen for us. We didn't get the hotel we requested, but since there were 6 of us, I did not expect to. We got a nice hotel in the Latin Quarter, which is clost to Notre Dame, St. Chapelle and the Pantheon. What better place to be than where Paris began! I liked that it was quieter, and we got around fine with trains and buses and walking. Breakfast in the cellar was very nice. Since I expected danishes coffe and tea, I was pleasantly surprised by daily baked croissants, pastries, fresh juice, fruit, yogurts, cheeses, cereals, and more. Lovely way to start the day. Hotel room was small, but I was there to see Paris, and it was very warm, which helped since it was cold outside. The staff were all very nice and helpful to us. It was my first time to Paris, though not Europe, so my opinion may be tainted with the excitement of going, but all in all I'd say it was a great trip for the money. I would recommend this to friends, and would do it again through Go-today.

Great value! Included breakfast is a big moneysaver, in Paris, hotels do not include breakfast as is common in the States. Paying 13euros a day for some croissants, juice and coffee is crazy to me, so I'm glad it was included.

Very satisfied. Agent was very helpful when there was a flight cancellation, and the flight information and the hotel information was very accurate posted on the web site. Price was very important for me and was very satisfied with the price as well. I would very much want to come back for Go-Today.com for my next trip. Thanks.

Our hotel was lovely; breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very helpful. We will definitely use go-today to plan our trips in the future. Thank you!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Paris, and this was the best trip of three trips we have taken with Go-Today all to Paris. We stayed at the Husa Calais Montmartre Hotel, and the room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was large. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good except that it was served from 7:30 and they used instant Maxwell House coffee (that was a dissapointment for me). Also the breakfast area was across the street in a sister hotel, but it was just a few steps away. The hotel was a two minute walk to the Blanche metro stop and the Moulin Rouge--no we didn't go to the Moulin Rouge. We purchased our subway tickets from Go-today and they worked fine. We took train trips to Rouen, Avignon, Bordeaux and Lourdes. The only issues we had were with Delta airlines. The tickets we received from Go-today were for Air France, but all the flights were on Delta so it was confusing, and I don't know why Go-today did that. All the flights were delayed--a Delta trademark I suppose, but the flights and service were good. We spent 8 miserable hours at JFK on our way home as the weather added a couple of hours to the delay. We hope to avoid flying with Delta in the future. But overall, the trip was wonderful and outstanding. We hope that Go-today will continue to provide an opportunity for us to return to Paris or another European city.

My boys and I had a wonderful vacation! The Mayfair Hotel was centrally located allowing us to walk most anywhere, but also having a Metro stop nearby making travel to and from the airport convenient. Not only was the Mayfair in an ideal location, but the staff was friendly, helpful and made us feel very comfortable. Although my oldest son dresses in a way that may challenge convention, he was always treated with respect as a guest of the hotel. If you don't want to pay extra for more than the continental breakfast, be sure to ask what is and isn't included. As with any place you travel, if you ask questions, you will get answers if you make assumtions, you will make mistakes. I would definately choose to stay at the Mayfair again. Stephanie and the rest of the staff as well as location were wonderful. We were aware that the weather would not be ideal at the New Year time of the year and came prepared, but were still cold and damp when outside, making it imparative that we stop at many cafes for coffee and crepes! As tourists choose sites from a guide book that we wanted to visit, but also allowed ourselves to get lost and discover things. As must as we loved seeing many of the noted points of interest, we went back to Shakespeare and Co. more than once-what a wonderful bookstore! We went to a play at a small theater in French and though I understood some and my boys understood less, it was an experience that we enjoyed and will remember as a highlight. Don't be afraid to find things outside of the usual! Go to the smaller churches and cathedrals, they are not as crowded and still full of history art and ambiance. The cemetaries are fascinating. My son's are musicians so we went to the Rome Metro stop and found the area where the luhtiers (instrament builders) are located. Paris is expensive as any city is so we looked for many of the points of interest that were less expensive or free. I could go on and on. I took lots of pictures that I have revisited often. I find myself wanted to go back to Paris each time I think of the many more places we didn't get to. So much to see so little time.

New Year Celebration in Paris was awesome. The worst part of the trip was the flight getting there. Our plane was older, cramped, and poorly climate controlled. Not to mention delayed by 2 hours. Hotel Tim at Nation was an okay place to stay for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was right next to 2 metro stops. But our room was small and dirty (dinged walls, holey bedspread, dirty shower curtain). Despite this, we had a great trip to Paris, although next time we'll stay somewhere different.

Wow!!! For the second straight year, my wife and I went to Paris for six nights in November thanks to go-today.com. We flew on US Airway and in both directions, the airplane left early. The flight over was just over six hours and returning it was over eight hours. The service was very good. We stayed at the Hotel Waldorf Montparnase (3 Stars) a short five minute walk to the Montparnase train station, and several of the metro lines stopped in the Montparnase area. The hotel was comfortable, the stafff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was a served continental breakfast. The hotel was located directly behind the Lafayette department store. We purchased a one day and five day metro card from Go-Today and it worked well for us. Through another company, we purchased a four day train pass and enjoyed travelling around France but will purchase our train tickets in the future from Go-Today as we now know they sell them too. We are making our plans for next November and looking forward to another wonderful stay in Paris. Thank You go-today.com.

this was my first international trip and i can't think of a better way to introduce oneself to international travel than with this package. go-today was wonderful to work with and we had no trouble at all during this trip. our flights on United were seamless, always had 2 seats together just as we wanted. the driver who transported us to and from the CDG was prompt, friendly and made our hearts beat just a little quicker (are there road rules in France?). He gave us recommendations for restaurants off the beaten path that locals patronize. what an experience - the food was so good at one that we returned again, even though they didn't speak english. we found the parisiennes to be friendly and helpful. my 30 year old french was fractured, but i think the attempt at the language was appreciated. we had a number of pariennes talk with us about culture, local society etc. our hotel, Etoile Trocadero, was much like boutique hotels in the USA. it was near the trocadero metro stop between the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe in, i was told, a very nice neighborhood. we never felt unsafe. our room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly, breakfast included eggs/bacon/ham (extra cost), cheese, yogurt (scrumptious), various bread/pastries, coffee, tea, juice. only thing was our shower was deformed and sprayed water but that was a small matter to us. if it wasn't for that, this trip would have 5 stars. paris was a most magical place and one i've always wanted to visit. this package did not disappoint. i have highly recommended it and have friends taking the same package this year (2006). i'd suggest buying your metro pass through go-today, so when you arrive you can drop your bags and start exploring. also, you can take the metro from CDG into paris which will save $$ on hiring a driver. we were on the go from 8am to 10pm-11pm. and the pass was invaluable (covered bus, train, metro). since taking this trip in 2005, my hubby and i have gone to thailand through go-today...a most wonderful trip! but that's for the next review. have fun, enjoy the culture/food/people and only stay in your room to sleep! bon voyage!

I just got back from the Paris Special, the Air India version and stayed at the Pavillon Etoiles Villiers, a 3 star hotel. The hotel's staff were very nice and the place has a good location. The Rue de Levis is a great street market, and the Metro has 2 lines at Villiers, and there are lots of restaurants on Rue des Dames. Our room was clean and a decent size, but there are smaller rooms. The pictures on the internet of the hotel rooms are a little mis-leading. The included breakfast was decent, plenty of good coffee, pastries, cereal, and yogurt. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay in a good location with no surprises. Air India was not such a pleasant experience compared to every other carrier I've traveled on. The lines to check in and board are very long and some of the flight attendants do not treat all passengers equally. The weather in May was nice, some showers in the morning, some windy days but lots of sun otherwise. Go-Today promptly responded to all my emails and phone-calls and the price of the package really is great deal.

Hotel staff nice and so helpful, breakfast was OK, baguette, cheese, hard boile d egg, fruit (canned)coffee, cereals; hotel is very convenient to metro stop and next door is boulangerie, other side is the Champion grocery and Tabac stores around the area - so convenient to everything that we took mostly Bus into the city instead of Metro;Sacre Couer is actually up the hill if you are willing to climb up the steep stairs which we did and to our surprise the hotel was just behind the Basilica. Booked the special last July 2004. Next trip - Prague!

We had a wonderful trip to Paris. The Hotel, Libertel Lyon Bercy, is a 5 minute walk to the Gare DeLyon Metro and train station. There's a very nice restaurant in the train station, upstairs, called the The Blue Train, and we highly recommend it. The hotel room was small but clean, and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was very good and typical European. We used both the metro and train service; it was easy to commute once we learned how to purchase metro tickets from the machine. All the train ticket agents spoke very good English so it was easy to purchase our train tickets. We would have rated this a 5 star trip except that Go-today had the hotel rated as a 3 star hotel, and it was only a 2 star hotel.

I had no problems with the metro, although stops were a bit further away. I highly recommend buying the museum pass--go-today has an excellent rate. I had also booked the Versailles tour through go-today and would recommend longer than 1/2 a day--do it on your own and you can do the gardens also. I would recommend this trip and go-today.com to anyone.

The Eiffel Tower and all of the Paris tourist attractions were so worth seeing. The tours we booked in advance and directions to them were easy to get to. The Paris Metro underground transportation system is easy to get around in Paris. For the $499 we stayed in Montremarte where Sacre Coure is located. You need to hop on the Metro to get into the city of Paris. Having our meals mostly sitting outside at the cafes was just so cool. The French people were very nice to us. For $499 you should go and see Paris. It is so worth it!

Our accomodations at Pavillon Pereire Arc de Triomphe Hotel were acceptable, located at a significant walking distance from the Arc de Triomphe, but easily accesible by metro. The hotel was situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, excellent to experience the everyday life of the Parisians. Paris is by far one of the hot spots of all Europe and should always be on the top ten list of any world traveller.

The only thing wrong with this trip was that we should have extended it for another night or two. 5-1/2 days are just not enough for a city like Paris. As in London, all your papers worked perfectly. No hassles with either the airlines or the hotel. The Hotel de L'Orchidee was very clean and the breakfast was more substantial than we are used to in Paris, although croisants were rare. And the economy seats on United were more comfortable than on several other airlines I could mention. We have been to Paris twice before and this was the cheapest by far, with air transport no worse than the other times and the hotel nearly as good, and more than sufficient. the frede Bateaux Mouches tickets were a nice bonus.

The trip did not get off to a good start but it was not the fault of go-today.com. Our driver was about an hour late in picking us up at the airport. There were some public transportation strikes so traffic was heavier than usual and caused him to be late. Before we knew what was going on, I tried to call the number provided by Alize but every time I called it, I got a recording in French. Thinking that the number wasn't working, a very nice lady at the information desk at CDG called the number and said that it was a recording saying all lines were busy. I don't know if that meant all lines in Paris or just to Alize. Anyway, she was the one who soothed us and said to wait a little longer and explained the traffic situation. I was ready to give up and catch the Air France bus when our driver appeared, carrying a placard with our names. From there on out the trip was a pleasure. The driver was very apologetic and very friendly. He tried best he could to get around the traffic which was worse than I had even seen before in Paris. When we got to the hotel, Waldorf Montparnasse, they were expecting us and actually had a room that was ready. The hotel was very clean, well located, and the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I was a little leery of staying there at first since it is in the area of a train station and those places tend to be "shady." However the area around the Tour Montparnasse is very clean, safe and vibrant. I would stay there again. There was a heat wave in Paris at the time and we had no air conditioning. Our 2 windows opened to the interior of the building. We had a limited breeze but it was quiet and we survived. In addition to the TGV station being a block away, there are 4 metro lines that also run through the station, including the 4 and 6 which get you very close to just about every major site. The vouchers were easy to use, as were the pre-issued tickets for the Seine River cruise (which must be taken at night to be fully enjoyed). With another round of strikes looming on the day we were to leave, I was very worried about the ride back to CDG. Our driver was supposed to pick us up at 10am and I was very worried that with traffic he would be late and then other traffic delays would make us late for the plane. Much to my surprise and delight he was in the lobby waiting for us when we came down to check out at 9:30. Check out took about 1 minute and we were off to CDG and arrived in plenty of time. Also to my surprise, the driver parked, helped us carry our bags inside and walked us to the correct airline check-in line. The airline we were assigned was United. The flight and airline was good but United's gates in their assigned Terminal at CDG are dreadful. Pray you get Delta because they are partnered with Air France and have a very nice space. The value of the vacation for the price can't be beat. I would use go-today.com again.

I highly recommend booking this vacation on go-today.com. It was exactly as advertised and we had no problems. Although the offer says the airline is Air India from Newark, go-today.com decided to change it to United & Lufthansa directly from Washington, DC, which was much better since this is where I live. The weather was perfect and the French couldn't have been nicer. I only speak 3 words in French and had no problem or attitude. Not many other Americans were in Paris in April, which made lots of room for us. We choose the Hotel Novanox in the Montparnasse neighborhood. The hotel and area was great -- the usual small European room, but a big bath, very clean, friendly, very good continental breakfast included, and a useful room safe. I took 16 trips on the Metro subway with no problems. I highly recommend buying a 1, 3, or 5 day Museum Pass at the first museum you visit -- covers about 50 museums including the top ones you'll want to visit. You never have to stand in a very long line again, but just go to the front of the line and immediately enter. I also recommend buying Metro passes by 10 (a "carnee"), which is a great discount.

However, in its favor, the neighborhood was more quaint. The only complaint we have was our seating assignments on the flight to Paris--seats 20D, 21D, 22D, and 23D--in front and back of each other, not even 2 together! Just returned from our first trip to Paris and our frist package tour with Go-Today. Had a wonderful flight on United Air/Lufthansa to Paris. Being met at the airport by an English speaking driver was perfect. We found it useful to have lots of dollar bills for tipping at the beginning . . . we knew how much to tip in US$! The hotel was perfect. We upgraded to "Hotel Franklin Roosevelt" in the 8th Arr. It was our perfect hotel. Located on a quiet street and just a short walk away from several metros, noisy Champs Elysee and the elegant Avenue Montaigne. My husband described the hotel as: "The Louvre is grand, but the Franklin Roosevelt is elegant . . . charming . . . deluxe". Friendly staff. We asked for a renovated room with an attached bathroom with shower and it was just perfect. Small room compared to American rooms but had everything. The high pressure shower was fantastic! The tub is narrow. The room was hot, but we were able to open the window. Continental breakfast was ample. The croissants, the coffee and the juice filled us up quite well. Thus we needed to buy only one snack for late lunch and a meal for dinner. (Al Ajami a Lebanese restaurant nearby is excellent if you want to splurge. We ordered the cuisine gastronmique with a bottle of wine and it came to about $100Euros). We took the train to Versailles and were glad we didn't buy the package offered. We got to see the other side of Paris, where normal people live their lives. We also didn't buy the museum pass. A 3 day pass costs about 30 Euros. But after one big museum like the Musee de Orsay/Louvre our sensed were so overwhelmed we couldn't have teken in another museum. Also we took a two day "hop on hop off" tour bus and this worked perfectly. The first day we did the Hotel Ivalides, Rodin Museum and Musee de Orsay. And the second day we did the Notre Dame and Louvre. We were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe from our hotel. The receptionist at the hotel suggested we buy the 10 metro ticket package, and this worked out well. The metro is mind boggling at first, but once you figure it out it was fine. I found it much easier to walk to most places. We suggest that if your have special requests do so in the comments box before buying the package. We had a 6 hour drive to JFK and requested a flight to Paris after 4pm. However, we failed to mention that we would like to be back at JFK by 4 pm on our return as well so, we could drive back. We got a request for a flight to Paris, but we returned at JFK at 9pm, making a drive or 6 hours hazardous. We found out at Chrles DeGaulle that United had lots of flight going into JFK. So, this frustrated us a bit. But we know better for next time. We will definitely suggest Go-Today to our friends. It was a positive experience.

Everything that Go-Today promised, vouchers, tranferes, and even the Bateaux Mouches, came off exactly as they said it would. Would certainly consider using Go-Today again. One Suggestion: If possible, upgrade your air travel to Air France. It is well worth the extra money.

We had a wonderful trip to Paris. All our arrangements went off without a hitch, and despite all the troubles at United Airlines the service and staff were excellent on our flights. The Hotel Mayfair was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the location is unbeatable. Hope to go back soon!

We took advantage of the Paris Winter Special in December. This was our third trip with Go-Today, and everything went flawlessly. We wanted to make special mention of the Hotel Mayfair. It's a beautiful hotel, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and charming. The location is perfect for enjoying the great attractions of Paris. Highly recommended!

United flight was was excellent and everything provided by Go-Today worked like clockwork. Our next trip will be with Go -Today!!!!

We just returned from our trip, and we had a wonderful time. The vouchers that were provided for the transport and the hotel worked great. We stayed at the Wallace hotel that was in the 15th arr. and it was great. The room was very nice and the staff was great. The continental breakfast that was included was more then just rolls and juice. Of course Paris was fantastic. The people were friendly and the city was fantastic. Going in October was great. The weather was nice, some rain, but lots of blue sky, and best of all no crowds. At the Louvre, we saw the Mona Lisa, with only 2 other people. I will definately go with go-today.com again.

I just got back from paris yesterday and had a great time. We stayed @ hotel pavillon pereire arc de triomphe. It was clean, nice residential neighborhood, but rooms were very small. No sites to see nearby but cute shops and markets. 10-15 min walk to subway, a little inconvenient. Plus connections on subway took up time. I'd rather stay closer to sites. But for the low price it was clean and safe. air India was an experience. Long lines @ newark 2 hour wait. Full packed flight to paris. Spicey food scent throughout the plane. We save money taking this flight. Was not the best flight. Coming back was not as bad.

Everything as you promised, but having a driver and Mercedes waiting for us at Charles De Gaulle airport instead of a multi passenger van was definitely a plus. The Pavillion Villiers Etoile was out of the tourist areas and in a French residential area where you can really get the feel of Paris. Thanks I'll be going back on your fly and drive within a month. What better recommendation for go-goday.com.

what an incredible vacation at an unbelievable price! we highly recommend travelling through go-today and intend to do so again soon. the vouchers made everything so easy and the cost was so low, spending a week in paris was more affordable than a week in pennsylvania which is right next door. we loved paris and would go back in a heartbeat!

This was my first time traveling to Paris and i really enjoyed myself. I would recommemd the overall experiance. I stayed at the France Louvre Hotel, the location ( 4th district ) was perfect in proximaty to Notre Dame, Louvre, etc. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The rooms were very small and the hotel needs to be remodeled , however the staff and the great service made up for lack of size or decor. This particular hotel just happens to serve a larger breakfast ( eggs, beverages, cereal, yogurts, cheeses, etc.)than most hotels in the area (not just bread and juice) , this i found by talking to other vacationers and asking about their hotels. The excursions purchased thrue the web site were wonderful. I was picked up at my hotel or was in walking distance to the attractions and didn't have a problem. Even the plane ride was not bad and i highly recommemd this vacation.

This was our second Go-Today trip this year. For the amount of money, I can't imagine finding a better deal. We stayed in a budget hotel, and it showed a bit, but the room was clean and in a great location. The vouchers worked great and the trip overall was amazing. We even lucked out and got upgraded for free to Business Class. Paris is a fabulous city and I would highly recommend this trip.

I just returned from the Paris Winter special which is the same vacation as the Paris March trip. The trip was fantastic. Everything went very well. Go-today.com provided everything they promised and there were no big glitches in the process. We stayed at the Mayfair Hotel. Great little hotel! Very elegant! The twin room we stayed in had plenty of room. It was also extremely quiet even though it is in the heart of the city. Continental Breakfast was great. It is located 2 minutes from the Metro on the M1 line which is a very convenient line to be near. The staff was great--really top notch in every way!! We purchased a 5 day metro pass (good for zones 1-3) and a 5 day museum pass through go-today. I don't know if it would have been a little cheaper to purchase these in Paris, but it was so convenient having them sent with everything else from go-today.com that it was worth it to me. If you do this trip, you should DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY, without a doubt get the museum pass. It saves so much time (not to mention money) because you don't have to wait in the long lines. The perfect companion book is "Rick Steves Guide to Paris". He gives great information about how best to get your money's worth from the museum pass. As for the metro pass, it may have been cheaper to buy tickets in the metro, but it was very nice not having to bother (especially at stops where tickets are not sold). I say totally worth it. One tip: If you buy the metro pass, have it validated at a ticket window before you use it the first time. This does not seem to be included in any instructions, but our tickets did not work correctly until we did this. The only trouble we had, and this really wasn't much trouble, was with our airport shuttle. We had a bit of trouble finding it when we arrived. The location described in the instructions was not correct for finding the driver or a representative from the company. Also, our driver had trouble parking that day and was not where he was supposed to be. But using the 800 number provided in the instructions worked well for helping us find our driver (he had a cell phone), so no harm done. They were also late picking us up (about 25 min) which made us a bit nervous, especially with how painfully slow the airport process is now. The management at the hotel said they have trouble with this company all the the time (Voyages a Paris) and that we should complain to our travel agency. Everything worked out for us, but had we hit traffic on the way to the airport, it may have been a different story without a very good ending. If you can get them to change your pickup time to a bit earlier than they tell you (pickup time is based on your flight departure time), you'd probably be less nervous. We tried to get an earlier pickup time, but were unable to do so. I would recommend calling them when you first arrive to try and work this out and then calling them the day prior to confirm. All in all, this was one of the best trips I have ever taken and I would definitely go again. I would also highly recommend go-today.com and use them in the future. My husband and I took your Paris Winter Special and stayed at the Hotel Batignolles Villiers. We were impressed with the service we received from the moment we boarded Air France til we returned to Newark airport one week later. The transport at Charles DeGaulle airport, greeted us with one of those signs you always see in movies. It had our name on it! What a great way to be welcomed to a country where you don't speak the language. The van driver told us all about the city on the way to the hotel. At the hotel, we were immediately given our room, even though it was only 10 a.m. The room was very small, but clean. It had everything we needed. The breakfast room downstairs allowed us to meet other travelers, mostly from England. The weather in February is rainy but not too cold. Bring an umbrella. We had a great time riding the metro and sightseeing with the maps that you sent to us. I would do this again in a minute. And the price was out of this world.

Just returned from a 4 night trip to Paris with the whole family-4 teenagers visiting Paris for their first time. We found all the arrangements made by go-today.com to be very efficient, and the Hotel Waldorf Montparnasse is a fantastic 3-star value for the price! It is also very well located in the Montparnasse section, close to the Metro. We all enjoyed the Bateaux Mouches cruise, and it was great having transportation to and from the airport included (although they were not very prompt). Very highly recommend this trip!

Where do I start? This was the easiest vacation experience ever. Go-today made everything smooth and terrific. Our flight on Delta was as good as you could expect. A driver met us at CDG as soon as we left customs. The Mayfair Hotel was wonderful. 4-star on it's own. Paris is beautiful, the people wonderful, the food better than even I imagined. I would go back today if I could. We will use Go-Today for our next Europe vacation...which might just be back to Paris!

Everything was great! The flights on US Airways were on time and comfortable. The shuttle bus drivers were friendly and on time. The Serotel Lutece was comfortable and friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. Great neighborhood, we really felt at home in the 5th district. Everyone we met in Paris was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint, we would have liked to stay another week and venture out into the countryside a little. Best vacation ever - my 17 year old daughter and I traveled alone and felt quite safe!

The Hotel Chateau-Frontenac was wonderful; it is perfectly located right off the Champs Elysees, five minutes from the Metro. The rooms are spacious, a real luxury in Paris. Behind the hotel on Rue Marbeuf there are lots of restaurants. We recommend Chez Andre - excellent cuisine, good value and open on Sundays! Thanks for everything.

My friend and I decided to take our first trip to Paris during our spring break at the end of March. The package is a great deal and saved us time from searching for cheap flights and decent hotels. US Airways has great service. There was some confusion about the airport shuttle leaving from CDG. When we arrived at the shuttle counter, there was no one there to help us. We were then advised to call the number listed on our itinerary sheet (0 800 609 609) but it seemed to be incorrect because no one answered. Apparently our driver (who was quite friendly) had been waiting for us at the baggage claim, but several go-today.com customers were still waiting at the counter for their rides when we left. The Hotel Batignolles Villiers was small, clean, and a short walk from the "Rome" metro station. I would recommend staying here if you want to spend the least amount of money. The neighborhood was safe but not nearly as nice or clean as those closer to the Champs Elysees. We had to use the metro a lot to get around to places where all the action was. Things to beware of: 1) The weather definitely put a damper on our plans. It was cold (45-60F), rainy, and cloudy for most of the 6 days we were there. Because the Seine was flooded, we were unable to take the boat cruise. 2) There was a museum strike so we were unable to visit the Louvre during our entire trip. 3) There was a transportation strike the day we left, so had we spent an extra day in Paris we would not have been able to use the metro system and there was a lot of traffic. 4) Daylight savings was a week earlier in France than the US. Despite these complications, we made the best of our time and enjoyed the sights. Buy a museum pass and you don't have to wait in line to get in. Especially handy at the Musee D'Orsay. I recommend going to the Musee Picasso and Musee Rodin for a more intimate museum experience. Buy a metro pass too at any station to get around the city and take a trip to Versailles. Visit the office of tourism on the Champs Elysees to find out important news and buy passes. Before you go try to learn some basic French. Most people were very polite and helped us out if we spoke to them in English but it's always better to try speaking in French first. Overall, if you have the money and the time, go for it! It's definitely an experience you won't soon forget!

go-today.com was a pleasure, and the flights were ok, but the France Louvre Hotel was the pits! I've never stayed in a bad hotel in France, until now. It's in a great neighborhood near the Hotel de Ville, but the room was 8 x 9, one double bed and a single mattress on the floor in a room too small to leave any room to walk. Ragged towels and very, and i do mean very, unhelpful desk guys completed the impression. We stayed there one night and spent the next morning hunting for a decent hotel, which we found and moved into immediately. I would not recommend the France Louvre to my dog!

While other Indian Maiden Tribes (this was our group) might do a weekend trip to Wisconsin we were able to go to Paris because of go-today.com. The flights were great! When we arrived the girls literally screamed with delight when they saw their names on a card from our driver waiting to take us to our great hotel. We loved it! It was close to the Metro, the meals were great and the Seine cruise was perfect. With the internet we mapped out our plans every day - from the basic of the Tower to climbing to Notre Dam and the Louve to visiting Disneyland Paris. Thanks go-today.com for making this possible.
