We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Greece. Having been there several times, this trip allowed us to take a much more relaxed approach to our travels. We did upgrade the hotels because of preferred locations for our needs.
The Devani Palace Acropolis is around the corner from the new Acropolis Museum which is a must see. The hotel is close to the Plaka and the metro which makes getting around very easy. The hotel staff was very helpful and kindly packed us a breakfast box so we could have something to eat before an early flight home.
Mykonos is the party capital of the islands and we wanted to be away from Chora. The Royal Myconian, 20 minutes from town, is a welcome oasis on Elia Beach. The staff is very professional and accommodating. We enjoyed the hotel and all its amenities.
The Yria Resort on Paros was by far our favorite accommodation. The resort is beautiful with an amazing array of tropical flowers and fruit trees. We had a lovely junior suite with a secluded deck - a great place to just take in the surroundings. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the other guests and the staff. We arranged a car to tour the island and Antiparos. We visited the site of the ancient quarries, Nousas and some of the beaches as well as spending time in Parikia. In September, the island is laid back and relaxing. The staff gave us some excellent suggestions on what to see and do. Just a short walk down the road from the resort is Paraporos Beach and a very nice taverna to while away some time.
Santorini remains one of the most intriguing islands in the Cyclades. The El Greco is a five minute walk from Fira and provides wonderful views of the stunning sunsets. Again we were impressed with a professional and helpful staff. We rented a car and explored Santorini from end to end and top to bottom. Staying at the El Greco you walk past areas that cruise travellers never see so there are some interesting out of the way places.
We travelled by ferry from island to island and found it a comfortable way to go. There are stops at other islands along the way so you get to see some of the less touristy places. We dined in one evening at each resort and the food and service was very good. The breakfasts were both American and European so you could enjoy a wide variety of items.
The nice thing with go-today was that the transfers and hotel reservations were all set. When we arrived at the Divani Acropolis all of our ferry tickets and an updated copy of our itinerary was waiting for us. There were a few changes on ferry times so it was good to know those in advance. It was an enjoyable and relaxing trip that allowed us to set our schedule.

This was a great vacation, with tons of time to do pretty much anything you want. You could book day-tours as you go, as the travel agents will usually meet you at the islands, and give you a list of tours that are available through them. Otherwise, your hotel can usually help you figure something out. Greece was different than we thought -- Athens is much more of a modern city (with overcrowding and pollution, as you would find in any city), while the islands are more of "resorts" than places for museum buffs. Don't get me wrong, there's something for everyone, but don't go expecting to find TONS of ancient ruins; the islands are the playgrounds for all of Europe, especially Mykonos, where nude beaches and non-stop partying are the norm. Find yourself a good travel book on Greece (Let's Go or Lonely Planet) and plan ahead, but give yourself some wiggle room -- it is Greece, after all, and "island time" will quickly modify your plans and make you just want to sit on one of the stunning beaches and sip a Frappe'.
Side-trips to take: The excursion from Paros to Delos. A “taxi” boat ride from one Mykonos beach to another (the best way to see the island). And the boat day-trip to the volcanic island when you are on Santorini.

This vacation was the best my wife and I have experienced. Period.
We opted for the category "B" hotels, and they ranged from very comfortable (Titania, Yria) to Excellent (El Greco) to Outstanding (Royal Mykonian). The Mykonian is built on terraces so every unit has a view of the Aegean. Staff service, food, beverage and facility are all four star. It’s on Elia beach, and within walking distance of Paradise and Super Paradise. There’s a great Taverna almost directly across from the hotel’s private beach.
Each time we landed or docked, there was someone to meet us and escort us to the hotel. They also had available side trips, and we took an excellent tour on Santorini. Be sure to visit the archeological digs if you go. You can walk on streets where people walked 3,500 years ago.
This was our fourth vacation with go-today. Their great pricing has allowed us to visit Madrid once and Paris twice. This was the most visual (I brought back 188 “keeper” photos), and had wonderful hotels.
Incidentally, hydrofoil transportation is fast and comfortable. Most comparable to a very wide airliner, but you schlep your own bags.
If you are into multi-location vacations, this is an excellent choice.
