Just returned from our Bali tour, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Singapore Air is the best in the biz, with comfortable seats, legroom, great meals and personal movie screens with over 50 choices. GoToday's tours went all over the island so we saw all the major sights, including temples, drama performances, monkeys, and craft villages. We learned alot about the culture from the kind an knowledgable tour guides. Sanur Paradise hotel was comfortable with A/C, 2 restaurants and nice staff. The recent disasters on Java do not effect Bali at all. Please be aware that the plane ride is about 20 hours from LA. It is also helpful to learn to say "No Thanks" politely to the people who will try to sell you things, but also to be willing to buy some of their beautiful arts and crafts because they really need our support now that there are less tourists. Everything is very affordable there (dinner for $5, fabrics for $2, fine art for $20-50). I got a silver necklace with gems for only $20, worth about $300 in US. Have fun!

Just returned from our fabulous bali vacation. It was perfect in every way. We stayed at the Pavilions and the accomodations were firstrate. The Singapore airlines flight to Denpasar was good too. They treat travelers much better than on domestic airlines, with good food, served frequently and lots of courtesy and respect. The Balinese are very friendly and happy to see tourists. They are very poor and are still feeling the effects of the Kuta bombing. Everywhere we went, folks wanted to know where we were from and again and again said how much they loved Americans. We never ran into any anti-american sentiment. We never would of gone to Bali if we had not found this package thru go-today.com. Our travel agent in Bali was very concerned for our comfort and called several times to make sure all was going well. I cannot recommend Bali enough. We'll definately go back.

Bali was terrific. We stayed at the Pavilions private villas and the accomodations were first rate. The Singapore airlines flight over, tho long, was a treat. We got served plenty of food at regular intervals and were treated with respect and courtesy, something sadly missing from domestic travel nowadays. Everywhere we went we were greeted with cries of "where are you from? We love Americans". We never ran into any anti-American feelings. They are still feeling the effects of the Kuta bombing and desperately need our tourist dollars. I can't say enough nice things about the trip. Our travel represenative on the ground in Denpasar called several times to make sure all was going well. The water was warm, food cheap and the people welcoming and lovely. Do yourself a favor and go.

I cannot say enough nice things about our Bali vacation package. We stayed at The Pavilions private villas. The accomodations were extraordinary, the Balinese people lovely. The Singapore airlines flight was awesome. They fed us plenty and treated us with courtesy and respect. Our tour agent on the ground in Sanur called several times to see if she could enhance our stay at all. I'd go again in a heartbeat. We found no anti-american sentiment. Indeed, the people are desperately in need of our tourist dollars and are grateful for tourists. Beaches were beautiful. Do yourselkf a favor and go to Bali.

Our Bali vacation was terrific. We stayed at the Pavilions private villas. The accomodations were extraordinary! I have never been treated so luxuriously. The balinese people were great to deal with. Most speak english. We found no anti-american sentiments. The Balinese were very grateful for our tourist dollars and expressed it. The beaches were clean and the food good. Our tour agent on the ground, Ayu, was great. She called several times during the trip to make sure we were being well cared for. The Singapore airlines flight was long but bearable. The staff on the plane treated us with kindness and respect, something one dosen't find anymore on western airlines. We were fed sumptuously on the planes. We even liked Changi airport in Singapore because we could take a shower there and there was also a huge sale at the Duty free, so I did most of my Christmas shopping in Singapore. Do yourself and the Balinese a favor and go-today.com to Bali.
