Description
Margaret Mitchell's masterpiece becomes a musical in this adaptation, to be directed by Trevor Nunn ("Cats", "Les Miserables"). The epic storyline follows passionate heroine Scarlett O'Hara through the Civil War and its aftermath, as she attempts to keep her family and plantation intact. Along the way she also romances, dazzles and bedevils the men in her life, the genteel Ashley Wilkes and the dashing Rhett Butler. The score and book have been written by Margaret Martin.
