Touring aroung the New Territories will surely show you another face of Hong Kong, a rural one, with small villages and peasants working on their farmland. You will be surprised how remote and undeveloped some of the New Territories are.
Highlights of the tour includen a visit to one of Hong Kong's most impressive Buddhist monasteries "Cheuk Lam Sim Yuen". The Wishing Tree in Taipo, make your wish come true by writing on coloured papers. Kam Tin Walled village, built 700 years ago by the Tang Clan. The border lookout of Lok Ma Chau where you can stand on the hill and look across the Shenzhen River.
