Description
A guided tour by bus to the historical Alkmaar. At the cheese market, with the cheese carriers in their historical costumes, you get a good impression of the ancient market life. After the visit to the cheese market we drive to the village Schermerhorn with its famous old windmills. On the way back to Amsterdam we visit a cheese factory where the cheese is still made the traditional way.

Sightseeing Details: This tour is provided on an Open Voucher basis. Passengers must contact the local sightseeing company on arrival to the destination to arrange the tour.

April 4 - September 5: every Friday at 9:45 am

Meeting point: Sightseeing tour starts at Lindbergh Tour offices at Damrak 26 (a 3 minutes walk from central station). Hotel pickups may be arranged; these take place between 8:40 am and 9:30 am.

Ending point:Tour office in the city center.

Child discount: Applies for ages 4-13; children 0-3 are free.

Note: Tour guides are multi-lingual and the tour may be conducted in other languages as well as in English.
