Description Kyoto:
This full day tour visits Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion, Kyoto Imperial Palace, Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo and Kiyomizu Temple.
Nijo Castle: Built in 1603 as the residence of the first shogun of the Edo government.
Golden Pavilion: This beautiful golden pavilion lies at the foot of Kinugasa Hill and has an incredible history.
Kyoto Imperial Palace: This palace famous for it's simplicity was the Emperors Palace prior to the capital moving to Tokyo.
Heian Shrine: Built to commemorate the anniversay of the founding of Kyoto it contains a miniature replica of the first Imperial Palace in Kyoto.
Sanjusangendo: This temple contains 1,030 satding Buddha statues in the main hall as well as a Thousand-handed Kannon.
Kiyomizu Temple: This clifftop wooden temple boasts panoramic views of Kyoto City.

Tour Departure: Daily departures between 8:00am - 8:45am depending on pick up time from your Kyoto hotel

Restrictions
Non refundable and non changeable once paid in full.
Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays duing Jan, Jul, Aug, Dec and will be replaced with a visit to Ryoanji Temple.
Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, National Holidays & select other days and will be replaced with a visit to Nishi Honganji
