Description
Half day visit of Seville, visiting the following sights: View the innovations in the architecture of Seville from the 1920´s. See the impressive PLAZA DE ESPAÑA, which is a magnificent sample of the Iberoamerican Exhibition in 1929. Visit the CATHEDRAL, the third largest of the Christian temple in the world and which demonstrates gothic, renaissance and manierist styles. It was built on the site of the main mosque of the town. The Orange Tree Courtyard still remains from the former mosque, as well as the GIRALDA Tower, which is the symbol of the city and from which you can see breathtaking views of Seville. We stop at the GOLDEN TOWER which contains some important graphic and written exhibits relating to the city´s nautical history. Continue on to the SANTA CRUZ QUARTER, which used to be the Jewish district. Discover the enchantment of its narrow streets, the mysterious small squares full of oranges trees and the flower filled courtyards.
The tour ends at the Santa Cruz Quarter.
On Monday we will visit La Macarena Church instead of the Golden Tower
