Description

Visit the Castle park, overlooking the bay, site of the trading town founded by the Greeks in 2000 BC. Drive along the port from where Catherine Segurane repulsed the Turks. Admire the Genoese buildings. See the city spread beneath from Mount Boron. Contemplate the old in Palazzo Garibaldi, and the new along Promenade des Arts. Arrive in Cimiez, winter home of Queen Victoria. Stop at Roman arena of Cimiez. Visit the Cathedral. Return by Promenade des Anglais, passing its famous landmarks. Finish the tour with a visit to the flower market in Cours Saleya. SOCCA tasting included - the ultimate Nicois specialty.
