Description
Meet your English speaking driver and guide at the designated hotel in the morning. Drive along the romantic Viale dei Colli to the Piazzale Michelangelo. Stop to admire the wonderful panorama of the city, one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour will proceed with an outdoor guided tour of the Duomo complex which consists of Giotto's bell tower, the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta dei Paradiso and the visit to the interior of the Cathedral with the magnificent Cupola dei Brunelleschi. You will also get the opportunity to select entrance to one of the two following galleries: The Accademia, which houses Michelangelo's David and fine artwork from Paolo Uccello, Domenico Ghirlandaio and Sandro Botticelli or The Uffizi Gallery, one of the oldest and most famous art museums in the world, houses works from the collections of: Fra Fillipo Lippi, Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Piero di Cosimo, Michelangelo and Raphael.
