Description
Meet your English speaking driver in the morning at the specified hotel. Depart to Pisa where you will meet your local guide and visit the magnificent Piazza dei Miracoli, with its celebrated Leaning Tower(outside only) and Baptistery and other important monuments. This is followed by a visit to the inside of the Cathedral, an unrivalled masterpiece of Romanesque art constructed between the 11th and 12th centuries.
After lunch at a typical Italian restaurant depart for the elegant and refined city of Lucca. Your tour of this magnificent city of art begins with a delightful walk along the famous 16th Century walls, followed by a visit to the medieval Church of San Frediano, the breathtaking Piazza Anfiteatro, the Torre Guinigi, the Cathedral of San Martino, the "characteristic antiques street", and the Church of San Michele in Foro. Return transfer to Florence.
