Description
Enjoy an excursion to the ever popular summer and winter resort in the heart of Central Switzerland. Engelberg (Angel Mountain) was originally founded by the Benedictine monks and the imposing monastery dominates the center of the village. The Baroque-style monastery church, which houses the largest organ in Switzerland, is open for visits to the public. Enjoy a 2-3 hour independent stay in this lovely mountain village to relax or stroll. Return by coach via Lucerne (approx 1 hour). Enjoy a short stroll and cross the famous Chapel bridge, the landmark of Lucerne.

Sightseeing Details: This tour is provided on an Open Voucher basis. Passengers must contact the local sightseeing companies on arrival to arrange the included tour.

Operates: daily, year round except Nov 9-20, 2009.

Meeting point: Departs 10 am from bus terminal Sihlquai, Zurich (behind main train station). Clients are requested to take their seats 10 minutes prior to departure time.

Child discount: applies to ages 6-15; children under 6 are free
