Description
You will depart from your hotel in Hanga Roa, towards Hanga Piko. Upon arrival, board a boat for your journey towards Motu (Motu Nui, Motu Iti and Motu Kao Kao islets). This area is of great importance in the native traditions, for being competition marks in the races for the election of the Tangata Manu or bird man. It is possible to appreciate numerous caves in the coast where Ana Kai Tangata stands out. Sailing amongst the islets, you will visit the ceremonial village of Orongo and the impressive cliff from the wall of Rano Kao Volcano. Return to the hotel in Hanga Roa upon conclusion of the tour.
