Description A visit around the Wonderful City, visiting Corcovado, Sugar Loaf, Tijuca Forest (a brief passage), historical downtown and the beach coast. This tour provides lunch in a churrascaria (traditional Brazilian barbecue restaurant). This is the most comfortable and convenient way to see the main highlights in Rio, in a private car with your own personal guide. Avoid lines and big crowds, or having to worry about time or where to eat. See Rio in style with this wonderful option.
Depart your hotel in the morning and travel to the Cosme Velho Station where you board a cog-train for the ride through Tijuca Forest up Corcovado Mountain. The train ride takes 20 minutes and is a wonderful opportunity for a closer look at the forest's lush tropical vegetation and to enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and city. Once at the top of Corcovado there are steps that lead to the top lookout where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands. After enjoying the breathtaking view below, you will descend by train and head to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch, the tour continues on through the downtown area, passing by the financial and business center and other attractions such as the Candelaria Church as far as Urca District where you will take a cable car for a two-staged ascent up Sugar Loaf mountain. After riding down the cable car, you will return to the hotel.
