Glimpse of Vietnam Escorted Tour
[PriceDisp]*

Overview

This 8-day, 7-night itinerary was created for those interested in Vietnam, its history, its culture and its spectacular geography. As some of us have less time than others - this trip will show you the country’s best highlights at a comfortable pace in just one week. Located on the Indochina Peninsula, Vietnam is a country roughly the same size as Italy. It is home to an interesting diversity of religions, cuisines and natural landscapes. As part of this itinerary, you will explore the Old Quarter of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. You will see Hoan Kiem Lake and the Dong Xuan Market. You will visit Hue to experience its ancient temples, imperial buildings and French-colonial architecture. You will cruise down the Perfume River, see the Marble Mountains and enjoy a guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City - the largest city in Vietnam. (Most likely you know it by its former name: Saigon). This itinerary will show you modern skyscrapers, historic temples, rice paddies, beautiful lakes and scenic coastline. Additionally, Vietnam is home to a whopping seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the following which you will visit (for more information on the sites, please click on the specific links): the shockingly picturesque Ha Long Bay – which you will visit by boat - the Complex of Hué monuments and the ancient town of Hoi An. If you’re dreaming of a vacation somewhere exotic, off-the-beaten path – Vietnam is a terrific option; you’ll be surprised at how much one can see in just a week.

Entry Requirements:
Passengers traveling abroad require a passport valid for six months beyond their travel dates. All travelers are responsible to check if a visa is required for all countries on their itinerary.

PLEASE NOTE FOR TRAVEL INTO VIETNAM: Beginning 1 Feb 2017, Vietnam officially launched their new e-visa program. The advantage of an e-visa is that clients will not have to wait at the airport for a Visa on Arrival, resulting in a faster Immigration process. U.S. Citizens will be able to apply for a 30-day, single-entry e-visa. The fee is $25 per person, paid at the time your application is submitted. This fee is non-refundable, even if the visa is refused.

How to apply for a Vietnam e-visa online: To apply for e-visas, foreign citizens can visit the e-visa page of Vietnam Immigration’s website at www.immigration.gov.vn. Applicants will receive an application code and will be asked to pay a non-refundable, $25 per person fee online. Guests need to upload their passport plus 1 photo (looking straight ahead without glasses).
