Best of Buenos Aires Special from Miami
[PriceDisp]*

Overview

Visit Buenos Aires, known as the ‘Paris of South America' and Argentina's capital city. Buenos Aires has the graceful architecture and elegance of a European city; in fact the Parisian Baron Haussmann was responsible for the wide tree-lined boulevards giving the city a classical feel. Buenos Aires simmers through its dinner clubs and tango dance halls. Stop by the ‘Pink House' from which the Argentinian president governs the country and learn the stories behind the unusual color of this well-known building. Linger in nearby Plaza de Mayo enjoying the gardens and people watching. After a steak lunch, stroll one of the oldest neighborhoods, San Telmo, bursting with old churches, art galleries and an antique fair. Contrast the chic atmosphere of San Telmo with another one of Buenos Aires' famous neighborhoods, Boca, a working class neighborhood with street entertainers performing amidst quirky metal houses painted in bright rainbow shades. Survey the smooth moves of the dancers at a typical milonga, a tango dance hall .
